So, you are looking for a real estate agent? What do we think you should focus on? Well, we have a list. We hope our top 10 helps.
What makes for a successful agent/realtor:
- GENUINE PURPOSE
- DEDICATION TO THAT PURPOSE
- WORK ETHIC/BUSINESS ETHICS
What are some of the things notably missing from the above list?
- Client base
What is the difference between these two lists? Well, the first list is something that a successful agent should have. Even if new agents come on board, they should strive towards having items in the first list. Real Estate Agents that possess these skills can make wonderful agents. Agents that work hard, are attentive and passionate about what they do should translate into wonderful work. So, what is the difference with the first list and the second? The second list comes with number of transactions, experience, leadership and mentorship. So, the agents that can tick boxes from both areas will be very successful. Why is the first list important? The first list is what makes a great agent for YOU, the client. Many people can have a lot of experience and have worked on a lot of sales, but they may not have skills from the first list. So, they can bring a lot of experience to the table, but they may not have the right frame of mind to fit with your current needs.
We tell our clients the following “ Our job is to make sure you have all the tools and information necessary to make an educated decision regarding your upcoming Real Estate Transaction”. Full stop. We offer the educated advice, and it is up to you to make your decision with all of the information offered.
We find that when you connect with your real estate agent, not only have you enjoyed your experience more, but you may have shared something that is really valued in your next real estate transaction. Connecting is essential to making this transaction work best for you.
Relationship building is one of the keys to a successful transaction, in our opinion.
